Gati shakti: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti National Master Plan’. This will give impetus to the development of infrastructure projects worth about Rs 100 lakh crore.

This is the Central Government’s National Master Plan for Multi-Modal Connectivity. According to the government, this scheme will prove to be a game changer for India’s infrastructure.The objective of the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana is to promote industrial activities as well as improve the system of traffic including airport, new roads and rail schemes.

PM Modi said that under this scheme, all the projects will now be completed on time and not a single penny of tax will be wasted.

 

The PM also told that in the coming 4-5 years, more than 200 new airports, helipads and water aerodromes are going to be built in the country. Work is going on to increase the income of the farmers and fishermen of the country. He said that now the pace of work is becoming the identity of India. Due to which the country is confident that India can work fast

With the help of this digital platform, efforts will be made to speed up development works. This will help in increasing the efficiency of the industries, giving a boost to the local manufacturers.Under this, 16 ministries and departments have put all those projects in Geographic information system (GIS) mode, which are to be completed by 2024-25.

PM Modi said that with the resolve of Aatm nirbhar bharat ,we are building the foundation of India for the next 25 years. PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan is going to take India’s self-confidence, self-confidence to the resolution of self-reliance.

During this, PM Modi also targeted the Congress. He said that the subject of infrastructure in our country has been far from the priority of most political parties.We are adopting a whole of the government approach to remove silos and create a correct atmosphere for economic transformation. He further said, ‘In the 5 years before 2014, only 3000 km of railways was electrified. In the last 7 years, we have electrified more than 24 thousand kilometers of rail tracks. Before 2014, the metro was running on only about 250 km of track. Today the metro has been increased to 700 km and work is going on on the 1000 km new metro route. He said, β€œIn the first 5 years of 2014, only 60 panchayats could be connected with optical fiber. In the last 7 years, we have connected over 1.5 lakh gram panchayats with optical fiber.
