Shark Tank India: All you need to know about Sharks of “The Shark Tank India”

Shark Tank India will try to promote Entrepreneurs i.e. new businessmen of the country. Entrepreneurs who will not get funding, big businessmen of the country will give valuable feedback, which will greatly benefit their ventures.

Sony TV is going to give a new platform to the new thinking of changing India from today, where the dreams of the budding businessman will come true. Today’s India is full of new ideas, risk taking ability, business and entrepreneurship. Reflecting this change in society, Sony Entertainment Television is launching Shark Tank India, which offers interesting business ideas, business prototypes or budding entrepreneurs who are running an active business to present their ideas.

Produced by Studio Next, the groundbreaking show will go on air every Monday to Friday at 9 pm from today i.e. 20th December, only on Sony Entertainment Television. It can also be accessed on Sony TV’s app Sony Liv. Shark Tank India will not only guide the participants or pitchers, but will also provide the audience with a hands-on experience of the nuances of the business. The participants will invest in the worthy businesses of a variety of professional aspirants, who are themselves successful entrepreneurs.

Ashneer Grover

Ashneer Grover, BharatPe Founder and MD, has found himself in a controversy after an audio clip surfaced on social media carrying abuses allegedly being hurled by him and one of his family members at a Kotak Group employee. The Shark Tank India judge took to Twitter and LinkedIn on Thursday to say that it was a fake audio clip by some seamster trying to extort money from him in Bitcoins.

Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta is the co-founder and Marketing Director of BOAT.BOAT is one of the number one headset equipment models in India which has gained a whopping 27.3% market share.

Aman Gupta’s company managed to generate a whopping INR 500 crore income in the fiscal year 2020 regardless of the pandemic outbreak. Aman Gupta partnered with Sameer Ashok Mehta in November 2013 to launch BOAT’s custodian company, Image Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. 

Namita Thapar

Namita joined Emcure as Chief Financial Officer. She served for Guidant Corporation in the United States for six years. She started a YouTube channel entitled Unconditional Yourself with Namita, a women’s health talk show. Thapar runs Incredible Ventures Ltd, an educational company that teaches entrepreneurial skills.

Namita is an Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd’s Executive Director. She also appeared in television show Shar Tank India Season 1, aired on Sony Entertainment in 2021. It is a reality show based on the startup of a company inspired by Shark Tank, an American reality program. 

Anupam Mittal

Founder and CEO of People Group, Anupam Mittal is also the Founder of Shaadi.com and currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer CEO of the country. Along with business, Anupam has also invested in Bollywood films and is producer of film Flavors and 99. Currently he is one of the Sharks aka investors at Sony LIV business reality show Shark Tank India.

Born on 23 December 1971, he is currently residing in Mumbai Maharashtra. He is an alumni of Boston College and did his MBA in Operations and Strategic Management in 1994-97. After his MBA, Anupaman started his journey as an entrepreneur and laid the foundation of  People Group.

The company later created businesses like shaadi.com, makaan.com, Mauj Mobile App, and People pictures.

Peyush Bansal

Peyush Bansal is the founder and CEO of Lenskart. He is also a judge of the famous Indian Shark Tank. Peyush Bansal was born on April 26, 1985, in New Delhi, India. Peyush Bansal is 36 years old in 2021. Peyush Bansal is of Indian descent and Peyush Bansal is a Hindu religion with a dark complexion and stellar character. Peyush Bansal is very popular online to judge shark Tank in India.

Vineeta Singh

The Indian entrepreneur ‘Vineeta Singh’ was born in Delhi, India. She has completed her schooling with the Delhi Public School, Delhi and Rama Krishna Puran, Delhi. Her husband’s name is Kaushik Mukherjee and she has two children whose names are Vikrant and Kaushik, in 2012 she became the co-founding member of Fab Bag, recently she is serving as Chief Executive Officer of her own Sugar Cosmetics company.
